Returns Policy

EMS Carparts offers a comprehensive 30-day return policy for your convenience.

If the wrong product was ordered due to a lack of confirmation regarding fitment, the buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs. It is crucial to verify the compatibility of a product with a VIN number or registration number if you're unsure. Some fitment will be as accurate as possible, but selected options on vehicles cannot be determined via normal means. Generally this would need to result in manual checks. 

What can be returned?

We stand by the quality of our products. Most items are returnable, but certain restrictions may apply. Perishable goods, hazardous materials, and special orders cannot be returned. A re-stocking fee will be applied for items that are considered "change of mind".

Restocking Fees:

A restocking fee may be applied at our discretion. This is generally 15% but maybe more to cover the expesnse for freight, adminsatraion and packing materials.

When do items need to be returned by?

For a hassle-free return, items must be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase.

Where do items need to be returned to?

To initiate a return, please send the item(s) back to our dedicated returns center at the address provided on your packing slip. If this hasn't been provide please contact us for the apprioate address.

How do customers return items?

Returning items is easy. Simply contact our customer service team to obtain a Return Authorization (RA) number. Include this RA number on the package and pack the item securely. For a smooth process, please provide a copy of the packing slip or order confirmation inside the package.

Shipping for returns?

Original shipping rates are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for added security. If any goods are lost during a return, we're not held liable for the loss.

Credit for returns?

Upon receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process the refund. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

In-store return option?

For added convenience, items purchased online can be returned to our EMS Melbourne locations. 

Packing materials?

To facilitate a smooth return, please ensure that the item is in its original packaging, including all tags and accessories. While not mandatory, using the original packaging helps protect the item during transit and streamlines the return process.
